Who does CWAD give grants to?
Grants are to support those who are D/deaf, hard of hearing or deaf-blind within the area of Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull.
What does CWAD give grants for?
Grants are made available for a wide range of services and support including:
- Developments in new services to support the D/deaf community up to £2,000 per application
- Events which support the D/deaf community at a maximum of £500 per event.
- D/deaf individuals who are in financial hardship and require addition support up to £500 per individual.
- D/deaf individuals who are attending higher education up to £1,500 for a degree or up to £500 per year for full time study at an equivalent level.
*CWAD’s maximum total grants and quantity given will vary depending on several factors. All applications are considered on merit and on the funds available for grants at the time of the application.
*Grants will only be given to organisations or individuals within the area of Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull.
When does CWAD determine grants to be awarded?
Grants are assessed during quarterly Trustee Meetings and decisions will be communicated by email to the applicants shortly after.
